    A Campaign for Visible Energy

    GSAPP CBIP

    2011

Energy consumption, like cell phone minutes, have peak hours. Understanding and responding to real-time prices can reduce peak load consumption across the city, significantly cutting both costs and co2 emissions. The peak load billboard is a facade that expresses invisible/internal information on energy use while generating its own energy. Its solar photovotaic panels maximize local energy production. This element aims to raise awareness and induce a change of habits: a campaign to make energy visible.
